- Brief
A resort entrance on a plain rendered wall, needing a nameplate with some presence but no heavy backing panel.
- Build
A clear panel is fixed on four chrome standoff bolts so it sits well off the wall face, with the name and location set on it as dimensional dark blue letters over four lines.
- Result
Because the panel is held clear of the wall, the letters throw a soft shadow behind them and the name reads twice — once solid, once as shadow.
