What this site collects
The contact form
When you send an enquiry through the form on the contact page, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you chose to give it, the service you selected and the message you wrote. The form sends this to our business inbox as an email. Nothing is stored in a database on this website. The email is delivered by Resend, an email service provider that processes the message on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
We use these details to answer your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to quote for and carry out the work. The legal basis is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any job that follows from it.
WhatsApp, phone and email links
The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp on your device with a message addressed to us. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp itself, and the conversation is then governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy. Phone and email links simply open your dialler or mail app.
Server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel records technical details of each request, such as the IP address, the page requested and the browser used, to deliver the site and keep it secure. These logs are held by Vercel for a short period and are not used to identify you.
Cookies and measurement
The site sets no cookies and loads no measurement scripts until you have chosen to allow them. The one thing stored before that is your consent choice itself, kept in your browser's local storage so we do not ask you again on every page.
If you allow analytics, the following tools load:

Marketing cookies are not used. The consent card still offers a marketing switch so that, if the site ever runs advertising, the choice you made is already recorded.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops further measurement; it does not delete data already collected, which you can ask us to do.
Who else sees your data
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. The providers named above, Resend, Vercel, Google and Microsoft, act as processors for the purposes described. Google and Microsoft may transfer data outside the European Economic Area under the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or to give it to you in a portable form. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interests. To exercise any of these, email info@vikingsignrite.com.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly you can complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta at idpc.org.mt.

Changes to this policy
When we change this page we update the date at the top of it. If a change affects how your data is used in a way you would not expect, we will say so on this page before it takes effect.
