How it
was made.
Written with the client and published only once they have approved the detail. No outcome or figure is stated before then.
- Brief
A timber shopfront to be lettered by hand rather than with applied vinyl.
- Build
The name is painted directly onto the timber in a keylined two-colour treatment with a strapline beneath, and a motif is painted onto a raised timber panel above it.
- Result
The paint sits into the timber so the grain reads through the colour — a surface that applied vinyl does not produce.
