- Brief
A single panel that had to hold a decorative oval device, a monogram and a name together, and separate all three from a dark ground after dark.
- Build
A long panel is finished in deep green and carries the oval outline, the leaf motifs, the serif monogram and the name as separate raised pieces with pale faces, each lit from behind so the light washes the green around it rather than through the letter faces.
- Result
Every element lifts off the green by its own halo, so the device and the name read as one composition without any of them going flat.
